I absolutely loved my stay at The Vincent Boutique Suites and would highly recommend staying here. Valletta is tiny, so although you’re not directly in the thick of it, you are only a fifteen minute walk from the Main Gate and bus station. Personally I adored the quieter and more residential location. Just around the corner there is a convenience store (but if you’re heading back from town buy your water and munchies in Spar as it’s a lot cheaper) as well as several bars and cafés. The hotel is converted from an impressive old palazzo, so yes, parts of the building are a little worn and crumbly, but this just adds to its charm and in no way impacts on the quality of your stay. I stayed in the Mediterranea Suite - which was absolutely gorgeous, super comfortable, and incredibly spacious. I loved the colours and the theme of the room. The suite also contains a kitchenette, with a fridge and an espresso machine. The bathroom has a dual shower (which was superb) and gorgeous smelling toiletries are provided. I also loved that my room had a traditional Maltese balcony looking out on to the street. Breakfast was excellent. Although there wasn’t masses on offer, there was more than enough to fuel the hungriest of guests. All the staff I met were lovely and very friendly. Reception isn’t always manned, but they provide you with contact details upon arrival for in case of emergencies. You can also access the building via a keypad if you should lose your access card. They also provide a luggage storage facility. I will be recommending The Vincent Boutique Suites to all my friends and family.

We loved staying in old historic Valletta and being able to walk around and explore the city. The Vincent is quite near to Fort Elmo. I would recommend getting a taxi to and from the airport. We did use the buses a few times, but the bus station is about a 15-20 minute walk on uneven cobbled streets, which wouldn’t be easy with luggage, Many restaurants are in close walking distance. I wouldn’t recommend staying in Valletta if your mobility is impaired because walking anywhere at all involves walking up and down small hills. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we arrived, giving us a map and pointing out things to see and do. The front desk is not manned all the time, but we were given a phone number to call if needed. Our room was nice and had a large private balcony. The bathroom was quite spacious by European standards, but did have a leaking tap (coming from a state where we watch our water use we were surprised so much water was wasted) The breakfasts were ample for us. Fruit, cereals, selections of sweet pastries, cakes, cheeses, meats, boiled eggs, bread and toast, tea & coffee. the staff in the dining room were very friendly. I must say the quality of the breakfast was not as good on Sunday, but that was just one day out of seven.

This was an excellent hotel. A little bit away form therein restaurant areas of Valetta, which made our stay very quiet, but, you must be able to walk or hire a car to get to the attractions. No need to rent a car in Valletta, download the Bolt ap, it will get you everywhere you need. Also walking, if able, will get you everywhere you need to be in toehold town. Hotel staff were very friendly, breakfast was perfect. Bed was comfy.

The location in Valletta was perfect. The ancient hotel building had been loving restored and brilliantly converted into the very quaint and cool Boutique Hotel that it is. All the staff were extremely helpful and polite and went out of their way to make our stay as lovely as it was. Thank you to all the staff, we will definitely be back to stay at The Vincent next time we come for a beautiful holiday in Malta. Grazzi!

Spacious room full of historic charm, including a very large bathroom and shower that worked well. Excellent breakfast with rotating selections of pastries, cakes, cold cuts, cheese and bread. Kind and hospitable staff that made us feel very welcome. Contactless check-in went smoothly and efficiently. Conveniently located lift to help with carrying luggage. Speedy Wifi.
